February 20, 2019

In the latest clip from Tyler Perry's A Madea Family Funeral, we get our favorite grey-haired, pearls-wearing, Southern matriarch explaining why she cannot go to court.

"I don't go to court, okay. I'm dragged to court," Madea says. "I don't just go to court because some judge say 'go to court'. I'm a THUG!"

Lionsgate describes the film as "a joyous family reunion turns into a hilarious nightmare as MADEA and the crew travel to backwoods Georgia and unexpectedly plan a funeral, which threatens to reveal sordid family secrets."

Last year, Perry announced he will no longer play Madea and 'Madea Family Funeral' will be her last film. The filmmaker says he doesn't want to be her age and still playing the same role.

Tyler Perry's A Madea Family Funeral will be ready for viewing in theaters on Friday, March 1.
