Pacquiao, Mayweather Fist Bump One Another at Warriors-Lakers Game

January 22, 2019

Following his takedown of Adrien Broner, while defending his WBA welterweight title on Saturday, many wondered how soon Manny Pacquiao will face Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a rematch. After all, the "retired" boxer was watching the 40-year-old Philippine fighter from ringside.

Well, the two boxers did face-off the night after at the Golden State Warriors-Los Angeles Lakers game, when Pacquiao was seen giving Mayweather a tap on the shoulder, who was sitting courtside watching the game.

The two gave each other a quick "wassup" and Pacquiao move on his way.

The question comes up often if Mayweather will make a return to the ring and take on Pacquiao. During the fight on Saturday, Showtime announcer Jim Gray nudged Mayweather to get in the ring after the fight and talk about a possible rematch. Mayweather just balked. "...right now I'm living a happy and healthy life," Mayweather said.

The Warriors beat out the Lakers 130-111 on Sunday night.
