Nominees To The 'Rock And Roll Hall of Fame' Announced

October 10, 2018

In general, there are five to seven nominees who are inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame each year. Previous inductees, music experts and fans get to vote on who the winners will be for the year.

This year's winners will be announced in December with the 34th annual ceremony happening at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn on March 29, 2019.

On Tuesday, the nominees were announced and of note, included Janet Jackson, LL Cool J, and Rufus & Chaka Khan.

This year marks LL Cool J's fourth time getting nominated. According to The Source, he's been previously nominated during the classes of 2010, 2011 and 2018. Both Jackson and Rufus (featuring Chaka Kahn) have been nominated three times before.

To send a little love to "Lady's Love," music fans can put in their ballots for their choice at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's website, now through December 9, 2018.

The @RockHall posted a complete list of nominees:

SiriusXM will simulcast the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductions live, while HBO will broadcast the ceremony later in 2019.
