“Domestic violence is one of the greatest threats to the health and safety of families in our community and it will take a community-wide effort focused on awareness, education, intervention and prevention services to move survivors from crisis to stability and economic self- sufficiency,” said Esther Peralez-Dieckmann, executive director, Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence.

Next Door Solutions will also be participating in the Clothesline Project. This visual display of art is created on t-shirts by survivors of physical, sexual and  emotional violence to express their feelings and stories of abuse and survival. The shirt is then hung on a clothesline to be viewed by the public as testimony to the problem of interpersonal violence and to let those who may suffer in silence know that they are not alone.
