Ja Rule Opens Up On Failed Fyre Festival

February 15, 2019

On Thursday, TMZ caught up with Hip Hop star Ja Rule as he was making his way through Los Angeles International Airport, when he briefly talked about his involvement and plans for a new festival.

The 42-year-old said he hasn't seen either the Netflix documentary, nor the Hulu version on the Fyre Festival, but he did joke about not planning to watch either. "They're very popular, they're very popular. Maybe one day. I lived it, man. I ain't gotta watch it," Ja Rule said.

For now, Murder Inc. star says he's focused on his reformed app, Iconn. Which is a similar iteration of the previous Fyre app and handles booking for a select group of celebrities like Fat Joe, Migos, DMX, The Game and Funkmaster Flex. Also, represented athletes include Metta World Peace, Vernon Davis, and Rick Fox.
