Fans of Kehlani Rally For Tickets To Berkeley Benefit

August 9, 2018

During a break from touring, Bay Area artist Kehlani is keeping busy by putting together a benefit show in Berkeley on Monday for her 2-year-old niece Nova, who was diagnosed in January with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), Billboard reports.

Many out-of-town supporters of the "Honey" singer have stepped up to buy tickets to the show for in-town fans who may not afford tickets to the August 13th show.

One Kehlani fan from Australia, Eliza tweeted "Yo is anyone in the Bay Area wanting to go to @Kehlani s Benefit show for nova?? I’m willing to buy a ticket or two since I wanna help but can’t make it obviously bcos I live in Australia :))"

Another fan from Southern California tweeted "How can I buy a ticket for someone closer to the event? I want to help but I’m in L.A?"

Overwhelmed by the outpouring of love from her fans, Kehlani responded with "you all have me in tears. in a world where we are often clueless as to whether true compassion really exists... you are leading by example. i love you so much. thank you everyone who’s buying tickets for a fan who can’t. that is so so so so special. Nova’s family thanks you"

Other artists performing at "Tsunovi Gang" A Benefit Show includes Bay Area talent Rexx Life, Raj, DAGHE and 1-O.A.K. and rapper Jean Deaux from Chicago.

Tickets are currently on sale at The UC Theatre's website, theuctheatre.org.
