Brooklyn Street To Be Renamed In Notorious B.I.G.'s Honor

The Christopher Wallace Memorial Foundation announced on Tuesday, a street in Brooklyn where the late Notorious B.I.G. grew up on will be renamed in his honor.

The intersection of St. James Place between Fulton Street and Gates Avenue to be renamed Christopher Wallace Way during a public ceremony taking place at 12noon EST on June 10.

The announcement was made on the day of Biggie's birthday, May 21st. He would have been 47-years-old.

The June ceremony will be attended by his mother Ms. Voletta Wallace, his children and some of his closest friends, according to Billboard.

New York City officials approved the commission of renaming the street in Biggie Smalls' honor back in December 2018.
