The Church of 'Yeezus Christ' Could Potentially Become a Real Thing

April 30, 2019

When Kanye West delivered his sermon on the mound during the second weekend of Coachella, he drew in over 50,000 to his Easter Sunday Service.

According to People Magazine, in the time since, a source tells the magazine he's considering "sharing his faith" and opening up his own church. Kanye's wife Kim Kardashian West is fully on board with her husband pursuing a more devoted spiritual life.

Plans are not confirmed yet, but West has met with spiritual advisors and leaders on what to do next.

The entire Kardashian clan was at the music festival where event producers actually raised a piece of the polo field so they can have the service. Many of West's collaborators and friends were in attendance including 2 Chainz, Childish Gambino, DMX, Kid Cudi, Lizzo, Teyana Taylor and Chance The Rapper.

The location of Sunday Service has varied from his home in Calabasas, Adidas Headquarters, to the surrounding hills and forests of Southern California.
