Apple Employees Reportedly Running Into Glass Walls At Headquarters

February 19, 2018

Apple's massive ring-shaped headquarters in Cupertino is a marvel of open office space with the central design element of a lot of glass.

The heavy reliance on glass has a major side effect - employees are running into the clear walls.

According to a report in Time, the internal workspaces - known as pods - have many iPhone distracted employees walking into the panes of glass.

The report states that employees went as far as placing stick Post-It notes on the glass to demark them. Unfortunately for them, the stick Post-Its are getting removed because they distract from the building's design.

The building, designed by architect Norman Foster, was originally concieved of by the late Steve Job in 2011 as “a little like a spaceship landed.”
