During her best R&B album acceptance speech, the Vallejo-native says it's unbelievable, but she actually considers her album an EP. Overcome with nervousness, she invited the rest of her entourage to join her on stage.

Earlier in the show, a guitar-playing H.E.R. performed her moving song "Hard Place." All the songs on her Grammy-winning album were co-written and co-produced by H.E.R.

In addition, Wilson was also nominated for Best R&B Song "Focus," Album Of The Year, and Best New Artist.

H.E.R. will take the stage at this year’s Coachella Music and Arts Festival on Sunday, April 14 and again on Sunday, April 21.
