Between a battle with cocaine addiction that left her in a sober house and a public divorce from her husband whose mistress gave birth to his child, the last six months alone of Wendy Williams’s life have been crazy enough to fill a book.

Or a biopic.

On Tuesday, the Lifetime network announced that it is developing a new film based on the talk show host’s life.

Williams will executive produce the feature. She will be working on the film with Will Packer, the producer behind the hit “Girls Trip.”

According to a network press release, “The authorized project provides a revealing look at Wendy’s journey, from her scrappy upstart days in urban radio to the success of her own syndicated talk show.”

The biopic will be accompanied by a documentary also based on Williams’s life.

Since her turbulent spring, things have turned around for the talk show host. In July, she announced that she’s “not on the market anymore.”

While she wouldn’t reveal her new love interest’s name, she dished to audience members: “It helps that he’s a doctor.”
